And have just moved back here after living in Australia for nine years, so I can relate to what it's like living in another culture for a long time. Though I didn't have to learn another language in Australia, I found that the culture there was radically different.

I think it's a great experience for people, but maybe especially Americans, to live in another country for awhile.

Anyhow, I've been a regular reader of your blog for the last week or two, so it was about time I commented!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30544984.post-57669041862429723342006-08-22T03:44:00.000-04:002006-08-22T03:44:00.000-04:00Thanks so much for your comment and positive feedb...Thanks so much for your comment and positive feedback! Also, thanks for visting my blog. I took the time to visit yours too, and it looks nice. I'll have to stop by and make some time to read it.

I've been here for half a decade at this point. I never thought I'd stay here this long. The benefit of long paid vacations and travel I found too hard to shake ;-)

You're right that I've learned a lot. The funny thing is while, of course, I've learned a lot about Korean culture, I've learned much more about myself. I've learned that I didn't know as much as I thought I knew, and I've learned that I still have a lot more to master. Mostly, I've learned to keep my yap shut more (friends might disagree) and try to be more patient.

Again, thanks for stopping by and posting a comment. I love comments!Reginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09024832959937205245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30544984.post-6800048003923577912006-08-22T03:28:00.000-04:002006-08-22T03:28:00.000-04:00Dang, my sense of humor is more warped than I thou...Dang, my sense of humor is more warped than I thought :-) I laughed through the whole thing too.

You have a great blog. I was in Korea about 11 years ago and had a positive time. It seems that anywhere I've lived I've met people from Korea that have become friends.

I'm sure you see things from a much different perspective after having lived there for awhile.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
