Schoolhouse Rock!!!

Week two of me toiling away at my boring work study assignment for the semester.

Anyway, I got a message with these Schoolhouse Rock clips! These totally take me back to my childhood and Saturday morning cartoons! BTW, thanks Lori!

I thought I'd share for those who remember and also for those who've yet to see them. Also, blogging it is a great way to for me to find them easily if I ever want to see them ;-)

  1. Anytime. These little segments totally take me back in pre-bills, pre-mayer, pre-fat.....ahhhhh....the good days.

  2. Hehehehehe!

    Very true.

Pre-bills, pre-Mayer, pre-fat (or pre -when you cared about the implications of fat), pre-a whole lot of stuff ;-)

Can I trade in the bills and fat, please?

  3. Ahhhhhh man, I have a desire to sit in front of the tv with a bowl of cereal and watch cartoons. Talk about the good old days.

    Conjunction, junction what's your function?

  4. Yeah, it would be nice. It certainly would be nice.

  5. Hey, How are you?
    Hope all is well.

  6. I'm doing great. I hope you are too!

It was a long story with my diabetes, but now that I've figured it out and reprogrammed my basals and lowered my boluses all seems to be good. I'm on the insulin pump, but I had some close calls.

Now it's just work and school, a lot of school. I turned in my thesis proposal this past week, and that IPE class I mentioned in the post below is easy for me but the reading is intensive.

This weekend is all schoolwork, and I predict that all this term my weekends will be just that.

I'm actually happy though. I'm a geek, and I love school. Schoolhouse Rock was a very positive influence on this kids. Plus, a thesis is writing, and writing turns me on ;-)

I hope all is going well with you. Like last term, unless something nutty comes up, my blog calms down during school.

  7. You can get Schoolhouse Rock on DVD. Yes, I have it. :)

My favorite is the one about the 19th Amendment. Can't find it on YouTube, unfortunately.

  8. Yeah! I know, I've just not gotten around to it yet.

However, seeing these on YouTube makes me realize that owning them might be a good thing.
