Random 80s: Van Halen - Panama
They're an L.A. band (well, okay, Pasadena).
Man, I missed the David Lee Roth days of Van Halen. He was hilarious.
It was a blog about my life and adventures as an expat in Seoul, South Korea. I've been back in the USA for over ten years. However, I still get alerts. I'll respond to comments and deep-six spam comments as needed.

Hey there! Thanks for visiting my blog. It's my first blog, and I'm glad folks are still stopping by even though I'm no longer living in South Korea. Feel free to comment. If you want a personal answer, leave your email, and I won't publish the comment. Nasty comments and spam links will not be tolerated.

I would just like to gloat and note that I saw the reformed Van Halen two weekends ago. Other than Dave's alarming collection of Matador Jackets, the show was outstanding. This band was never right with Sammy Hagar in it and I was extremely happy that a friend bought me a ticket. We even split a six-pak in the parking lot, like we were back in high school.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was so happy to hear that David Lee Roth and come back to Van Halen. His stuff after leaving Van Halen was way too cheesy.
ReplyDeleteBut with Van Halen, he's nutty enough to make it good fun with great music backing him up. Those Van Halen boys know their music ;)
It's just unfortunate because it seems like there has been some serious brawling in the band, so much so that Michael Anthony isn't with them now :(
